What is “BA in Civil Services”

“BA in Civil Services” (or similar names: BA (Civil Services), BA (Administration / Public Administration / Social Sciences + Civil Services prep), BA + IAS/IPS integrated, etc.) is essentially an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts program — but structured so that the curriculum supports and integrates preparation for civil-services and other government competitive exams.

It’s a 3-year (6-semester) degree (in most colleges) — like a regular BA — but with extra training/coaching, syllabus alignment and activities to prep you for civil services exams.
